HMCE is very excited to return to Brussels, Belgium for our 25th conference! The 2012 conference will be held March 10-12 at the Bedford Hotel, which is located within a few minutes’ walk of the historic Grand Place. The capital city of Belgium, Brussels also serves as the headquarters for the European Union as it is home to several major political institutions of the EU, including the seat of the European Commission and the Council of the EU. Brussels also boasts of a number of world-class sights and museums, such as the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium and the Art Nouveau architecture. In addition to its wonderful sight-seeing opportunities, Brussels is also known for delicious gastronomy, which of course includes the famous Belgian waffle and Belgian chocolate.
