GavinSullivanGavin Sullivan


Gavin is a senior in Lowell House concentrating in History with a secondary in Economics.  He first joined the HMC Europe conference as a 2014 Junior Staffer in the Media committee. He served as the Business Manager in 2015 and Vice President in 2016. Back at Harvard, Gavin is a Peer Advising Fellow for the freshman class and writes for a campus magazine. Originally from a suburb of Chicago, Gavin enjoys long distance running and is a committed political junkie and aviation enthusiast.

Vice President

Camille is a senior from Cleveland, Ohio studying statistics. She is excited to be back with the Harvard Model Congress Europe executive board again to make the 2017 conference the best one yet! With HMC, Camille has staffed and served on the board of conferences in Boston and San Francisco. She is also a teaching fellow for an introductory computer science course. In her spare time, Camille enjoys drinking tea, designing websites, and singing.



Andrew Wilcox

Business Manager

Andrew is a junior English Concentrator from Pennsylvania. He has been involved with Harvard Model Congress since his Freshman year. Outside of HMC, Andrew manages the university’s Arts and Literature magazine, leads maintenance crews, and plays on the Club Squash team.  He enjoys reading, travel, photography, and bread. He looks forward to meeting the faculty and delegates in attendance at HMC Europe 2017!


Aren Rendell

Faculty Liaison

Aren, a proud native of Omaha, Nebraska, is a sophomore concentrating in Economics. He first took part in an HMC conference in his high school days as a two-time delegate at our Boston conference. Since then, he has staffed HMC conferences in Boston, San Francisco, São Paulo, and Seoul as well as last year’s HMCE in Rome. He is thrilled to be back with HMCE as our Faculty Liaison. Outside of HMC, Aren spends much of his time discussing politics and sharing random information about Nebraska, serves as a Peer Advising Fellow for Harvard freshman, and is involved in a consulting club. 


Caroline Tervo

Director of Programs

Caroline Tervo is a junior studying government originally from the great state of North Carolina. This is her second year on the executive board for HMC Europe: last year she was honored to serve as the Director of Scholarships and Outreach. She’s passionate about the educational mission of HMC, and has staffed conferences in Boston, Asia, Latin America, San Francisco, and the Middle East. In addition to HMC, she’s actively involved in Harvard’s Institute of Politics and the College Admissions Office. In her free time, she loves hiking, kayaking, and taking road trips. Caroline is thrilled to serve as the Director of Programs and looks forward to fostering further delegate engagement with global political issues.

Nicholas BonstowNicholas Bonstow

Director of Scholarships and Outreach

Nicholas Bonstow is a senior in Adams House but hails from a Victorian Seaside town, Torquay, in the countryside of England. A Comparative Literature concentrator, Nick has many interests in literature and philosophy, especially in social philosophy and history of philosophy and its connection to political theory and intellectual history. Outside of the classroom Nick is engaged with the Institute of Politics, including serving as student liaison for the former head and current Senior Judge of the Massachusetts District Court. A keen writer, Nick is a staff writer for The Harvard Political Review, and an Editor of the Harvard College Law Review.

Sebastian Wagner-Carena

Director of Operations and Technology

Sebastian is a junior in Kirkland house pursing a degree in Physics with a secondary in Computer Science. He was born in Meyrin Switzerland, comes from an Argentinian family, and grew up just outside of Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys biking, watching a good soccer match, and reading The Economist. After he finishes his time at Harvard he hopes to pursue Graduate studies in either Computer Science or Physics. Sebastian loved competitive debate and mock congress in high school and hopes to help make HMCE 2016 an amazing experience for faculty and students.

Kira a junior studying Neurobiology. In high school, she was a delegate at HMC San Francisco, and it was at her first conference that she discovered her interest in education policy and civics. Outside of the science world, Kira loves to hike, act, and online shop for her next Halloween costume.

Executive Assistant

Harrison Satcher is from Naples, Florida. He is currently a sophomore at the College, where he studies Cognitive Psychology. In addition to HMC, he enjoys creative writing, hiking, and weightlifting in his free time. Harrison has been involved in model government since his time in Youth in Government in high school. He served as both the Youth Governor and Senate President of Florida, competed in the National Judicial Competition, and served this past summer as one of six Presiding Officers for the nation-wide Conference on National Affairs.
