Nida Ansari

Supreme Court

Nida Ansari is a junior from Greenville, SC, concentrating in Economics. She has staffed HMC conferences in Boston, Asia, Europe, San Francisco, Latin America, and the Middle East. Outside of HMC, she’s involved at the Harvard Institute of Politics. In her free time, she likes to watch reruns of Modern Family and eat absurd amounts of Chipotle. Nida is beyond excited for HMCE 2017!


Andrew Badinelli

House Energy and Commerce

Andrew Badinelli is a junior economics concentrator in Mather House from Brookfield, Connecticut. Besides HMC, Andrew writes for The Harvard Crimson and tutors for the Economics Department. This past summer, Andrew was also named by Spotify as one of Sia’s top listeners. He doesn’t really know what that means, but is pretty excited about it.


Marc Bornstein

House Science, Space, and Technology

Marc is a senior at Harvard studying chemistry and physics. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, he loves the fall weather, playing tennis, and trying new foods. Around campus, you can find him doing research, tutoring, and napping. This will be Marc’s tenth HMC conference and his first with HMC Europe. He looks forward to meeting you all in March!


Hanel Braveja

International Monetary Fund

Hanel Baveja is a Junior concentrating in Economics and pursuing a secondary in English.  Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Hanel lives in Pforzheimer House at Harvard.  She is thrilled to be returning to Harvard Model Congress Europe for her second year as a staffer.  She enjoys drinking copious amounts of coffee and dreaming about nice weather.


Claire Chen

Group of 20

Claire is a sophomore from Toronto, Canada. She is a Social Studies concentrator with a focus on the intersection of economics and government. She has staffed three HMC conferences, always chairing international organizations. Outside of HMC, Claire is a member of the Consulting Group and the Asian American Association.


Dustin Chiang

Senate Foreign Relations

Dustin Chiang, from Fremont, California, is a sophomore at Harvard College studying Government. He teaches civics at local public schools, leads tours for prospective students, and is heavily involved with Harvard’s Institute of Politics. Dustin enjoys watching TV, playing board games, trying delicious foods, and cheering on the Oakland Athletics.


Molly Cinnamon

House Intelligence

Molly Cinnamon is a junior studying Computer Science and Government. Molly has a passion for traveling and exchanging political understandings between cultures. In her spare time, she loves filmmaking (inspired by Wes Anderson), reading (David Sedaris specifically), and playing squash (poorly). As an LA native, Molly is always open to complaints about the Boston winter.


Ben Delsman

Presidential Cabinet

Ben Delsman is a sophomore originally hailing from the beautiful state of Oregon, now studying Economics and Government here at Harvard. When not rapping along to Kanye tracks, you can usually find Ben hiking or playing intramural basketball poorly. He’s excited to share his passion for all things political!


Caroline Ferguson

House Intelligence

Caroline Ferguson is a Senior in Dunster concentrating in Social Studies. A native of Washington, DC, Caroline developed her love for government at a young age and thus joined HMC her sophomore year in hopes of fostering a civic spirit in high schoolers today. In addition to her work with HMC Dubai, Boston, Asia, and Europe, Caroline served as co-captain of the Harvard Club Field Hockey team and works on the College Events Board planning collegewide social events. 


Michael Geisler

United Nations Human Rights Council

Born and raised throughout the Midwest, Michael calls the Heartland of America his home. A junior at Harvard College, Michael is concentrating in History and contemplating the idea of pursuing a citation in French. When not reading history books or attending government simulation conferences, Michael enjoys cheering on his hometown Indianapolis Colts! 


Mary Harrigan

European Union

Mary is a junior concentrating in Statistics and pursuing a secondary in History. Outside of the classroom, she can often be found in the pool practicing with Club Waterpolo or at the French table in the dining hall keeping up her language skills.


Cass Hastie

Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions

Cass Hastie, a Junior at Harvard College from Woodstock, New York, is pursuing a degree in Government. When she is not participating in HMC, she spends her time as a peer counselor and as a tour guide for the Harvard Admissions Office.


Mira Hayward

United Nations Security Council

Mira is a senior studying history. Outside of HMC, she’s involved with the Peer Advising program and the history research Originally from Portland, Oregon, Mira loves traveling, watching bad TV, eating good food, and reading basically anything.


Emily Johnson

World Health Organization

Emily is a junior studying history of science and global health. Originally from Savannah, Georgia, Emily enjoys reading, surfing, and watching TED talks. Around campus, you will find her mostly spending time with friends and napping.


Raquel Leslie

Raquel is a sophomore in Dunster House from Danvers, MA, concentrating in Government with a secondary in East Asian Studies and a citation in Mandarin. She is also a Peer Advising Fellow and a member of Citizenship Tutoring, and will be staffing HMC Boston and Middle East this year as well!


Sally Marsh

Presidential Cabinet

Sally is a junior studying government and history. A proud Michigander, in her spare time she loves taking pictures, listening to music, drinking tea, and watching the West Wing. Outside of HMC, Sally is Communications Director of Harvard’s Institute of Politics.


Maria Mendoza

International Criminal Court

Maria Mendoza is a rising sophomore from West New York, New Jersey. She studies Government with a secondary field in Latino Studies. As a first generation Cuban-American, most of her time consists of unfruitful searches for nearby Cuban cuisine, but she also enjoys competing on the mock trial team, tutoring immigrants in preparation for the citizenship exam, and staffing Harvard Model Congress committees.


Oksana Moscoso

International Criminal Court

Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, Oksana is a rising senior at Harvard College concentrating in Economics. With Harvard Model Congress, Oksana has staffed conferences in Boston, Hong Kong, São Paulo, San Francisco, Rome and Madrid. This is Oksana’s fourth year of HMCE, and she is thrilled to staff ICC. She is excited to continue to bring the educational experience of HMCE to delegates across the globe. Apart from Harvard Model Congress, Oksana is a member of the Harvard Ballet Company and Expressions Dance Company, dancing nearly 10 hours a week. In addition, she is an active tour guide on campus and enjoys hiking, baking, and eating avocados.

Maddy Nam

National Security Council

Maddy is a junior in Pforzheimer House, concentrating in History and Literature and a language citation in Spanish. She has staffed conferences in Boston, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Rome, and Seoul. Maddy is also member of the Harvard College Stand-Up Comics Society and enjoys reading, traveling, and watching cat videos.


Anne Mentzinger

World Health Organization

Anne is a senior living in Dunster House concentrating in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a secondary in Economics. Anne is really excited to be staffing HMC Europe for the second time. Outside of HMC, Anne volunteers at the homeless shelter and and tutors for an after-school program. Originally from Philadelphia, Anne enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and trying new food.

Ryan O’Meara

Senate Health, Labor, Education, and Pensions

Ryan is a junior at Harvard studying economics with a secondary field in government and a citation in Spanish. Originally from Plano, TX, he enjoys playing golf and rooting for the Texas Rangers. In addition to HMC, he writes for The Crimson and teaches leadership to high school students.


Nick Pagel

European Commission

Nick is a sophomore at the College, concentrating in Chemical and Physical Biology. He was born in America, but raised by the world, having spent his formative years in Japan attending this very conference. He’s spent more time in hotel beds than his own bed, and is at home surfing in Bali as he is trudging through the snow in Boston. 


Paige Wallace


Paige Wallace is a senior at Harvard College studying History and Literature. She focuses on film representations of teaching and schooling from the 1950s on. She also has a secondary field in the Classics. In addition to HMCE, Paige also staffs HMC conferences in Boston, San Francisco, and Sao Paulo. Outside of HME, Paige spends most of her time volunteering with an after school program for students in the Mission Hill neighborhood of Boston. She also enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with friends!

Supreme Court

Melvin Woo is a sophomore at Harvard pursuing a concentration in Government. He is very involved in Harvard Model Congress, as well as in Harvard’s Institute of Politics. Melvin’s previous staffing experiences include conferences in Seoul, San Francisco, Boston, and São Paulo; he has chaired committees such as SCOTUS, District Court, ICC, and Senate Foreign Relations. This will be Melvin’s first conference with HMCE, and more broadly, his very first time stepping foot on the continent of Europe! He is very excited to work with all of the amazing delegates of HMCE!

Yankang Yang

Senate Energy and Natural Resources

Yankang is a Junior in Leverett House studying Electrical Engineering. Born in the snowcapped mountains of Southwest China, Yankang has lived in 6 states in the US. Outside of HMC, Yankang is a manager for Harvard Student Agencies, Inc., helps teach Harvard’s introductory circuits course, and enjoys participating in intramural sports.
