Jessie Rodriguez is a proud Cuban-American from Miami, Florida in her fourth year at Harvard where she studies Government and Psychology. She has been involved with Harvard Model Congress Europe since she was a sophomore; HMCE 2020 will mark her third and final year with the conference. Outside of HMCE, Jessie is a Chair at the Harvard Institute of Politics and enjoys watching lots of Netflix. Her politics experience ranges from interning for former Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen in Washington, D.C. to interning for Human Rights Watch and even volunteering on Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. She is extremely excited about serving as President of HMCE and the opportunity to put on an amazing conference for high school delegates passionate about government!
Wesley is a Junior at Harvard studying Government and Data Science. Originally from Lakeland, Florida, he never ceases to be amazed by the presence of seasons and snow in Cambridge. He has participated in model government programs for over seven years and feels at home in the HMC community. HMCE 2020 will be his third time at the Madrid conference and his second time serving on the Executive Board. When he is not staffing an HMC conference, you can find him in Harvard’s Institute of Politics or biking around Boston.
Raymond is a senior at Harvard concentrating in Computer Science with an Economics secondary. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, he is excited to be returning for his eleventh and final HMC conference. This year, his priority for HMC Europe is to increase conference outreach and accessibility to diverse students of all backgrounds across the world. Outside of school, Raymond can often be found tinkering with tech, flying as a private pilot, and learning new musical instruments. He enjoys traveling, eating, and making new friends through a shared passion for the study of memes.
Melody is a sophomore from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia in Lowell House studying Government with a language citation in Mandarin Chinese. Melody has previously staffed conferences in Boston, San Francisco, and Madrid; this will be her fourth HMC conference. Outside of HMC, Melody is an associate for a consulting group, a representative in student government, a volunteer in small claims advisory service, and a heavily involved member of the Harvard Institute of Politics. She loves to work out, listen to music, and explore Boston. She is incredibly excited to be a part of HMC Europe 2020!
Andrew, a senior at Harvard College from Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, is pursuing a degree in Bioengineering with a language citation in Mandarin Chinese. When he is not participating in HMC, he spends his time directing the Harvard Taiwan Leadership Conference and working on medical devices at Boston Children's Hospital. In his free time, Andrew loves to run and play chess. HMCE will be Andrew's eighth and final HMC conference. He is committed to helping the conference run as smoothly as possible, and is super excited to meet you all there!
Audrey Mustoe is a senior studying Neurobiology at Harvard. She's from Salinas, CA, where she enjoys the winters much more than she does in Boston. After staffing the House Science, Space and Technology committee last year, she is excited to take on her new role as Director of Domestic Programs for HMC Europe 2020. Outside of HMC, Audrey loves to sing with her a cappella group, the Harvard Lowkeys. She also serves as an emergency medical technician with Harvard's student run emergency service, CrimsonEMS.
Nyla Brewster is a sophomore from Stoughton, Massachusetts concentrating in Social Studies with a secondary in Computer Science. While she has staffed other conferences, this year will be her first doing HMCE! She lived in Spain last year and is very excited to return to Madrid for HMCE 2020. Outside of HMC, she loves running, reading mystery novels, and dog watching.
George Nageeb is a sophomore at Harvard College who plans on studying Statistics with a secondary in the Comparative Study of Religion. He is a premedical student interested in becoming a surgeon. In addition to school he also plays on Harvard Men’s Varsity Soccer Team. He was born in Cairo, Egypt but raised in Cleveland, Ohio and is an avid Cleveland sports fan! His idols include Lebron James, Mo Salah, Mufasa from the Lion King, and his mom.
Jonathan Ragheb, a sophomore pre-medicine student at Harvard College from beautiful, sunny Los Angeles, California, is studying Neuroscience (and maybe something else in the future, he'll see). Jonathan loves to play volleyball, eat a LOT of food, and sing in the shower. He is a huge Taylor Swift fan, memorizes most of her songs, and is super excited to serve as your Chief of Staff at HMCE 2020!
