Christopher Shin
PRESIDENT
Christopher is a rising junior at Harvard and a Leverett House resident from Cherry Hill, NJ, double concentrating in Chemical & Physical Biology and Government with a secondary in Music. He is the President of HMC-Europe 2026, and was formerly on the boards of HMC-Boston and HMC-Asia. Aside from HMC-endeavors, Chris is Co-Chair of the Policy Program at the Harvard Institute of Politics and a researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard. Christopher is also an avid musician as a classical pianist and jazz trumpeter, serving as President of Harvard College Piano Society and playing lead trumpet in the Harvard Jazz Orchestra.
Alexandra Oikonomou
VICE PRESIDENT
Alexandra Oikonomou is a junior in Dunster House studying Government and Philosophy with a secondary in Psychology. She was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and she is passionate about educational equity, disability advocacy, immigration policy, and international relations. She is an avid HMC-er, serving on the boards of the San Francisco and Boston conferences as well. In her free time, you can find her playing volleyball or bracing the cold Boston weather with a comically large jacket and a cup of hot chocolate while reading a book or writing by the Charles River.
Zach Berg
DIRECTOR OF DOMESTIC PROGRAMS
Zach is a rising sophomore from New York City who lives in Adams House and is planning on concentrating in Government and History. Some of Zach's best high school memories came from when he was a delegate at 6 separate editions Harvard Model Congress, and is remarkably excited to give back as domestic PO to bring that life-changing experience to the next generation of delegates. When he is not doing something model Congress related, you can probably find him cooking, eating, debating, writing, or spending time with friends and family.
Nicholas Sikellis
DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS
Nicholas is a rising sophomore at Harvard and a Currier House resident originally from Athens, Greece, concentrating in Social Studies and Chemistry with a citation in Mandarin. He is the International PO of HMC-Europe 2026, and has been attending HMC conferences since high school. Aside from HMC, Nicholas is also in the Biotech Club and the Law Council, while he also enjoys playing jazz piano and basketball in his free time.
Dillon Dukes
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL AID
Dillon is the Business Manager for the Harvard Model Congress Europe conference and a staffer for the Boston conference. Dillon is a sophomore at Harvard College and a resident of Quincy House, originally from New Jersey, concentrating in Government and Economics. Dillon was elected by the student body to serve as Social Life Officer on the First-Year Student Government and also serves as a Principal at Harvard Undergraduate Capital Partners and a Business Associate at The Harvard Crimson. Dillon is passionate about community-driven entrepreneurship and urban development.
Layla Kelly
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS AND TECHNOLOGY
Layla is a rising sophomore at Harvard studying Government and Economics. Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Layla calls Lowell House home on campus and is also involved in HMC San Francisco, the Institute of Politics, and Women in Business. In her free time, you'll find Layla hunting for the best iced latte in Cambridge, listening to Gracie Abrams, or going for walks along the Charles with friends. After staffing HMCE last year, Layla couldn't be any more excited to return this year as part of the executive board!
Bannon Price
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS
Bannon is a rising sophomore at Harvard in Lowell House, originally from Southwest Arkansas. Bannon is double concentrating in Government and Economics, with a potential citation in Arabic. He is currently the Director of Communications for HMC Europe as well as Director of Mentorship and Scholarships for HMC Boston. Bannon is also involved in the Harvard Undergraduate Consulting Group, the Harvard Institute of Politics, and Harvard Undergraduates for Bipartisan Solutions. Outside of class, he loves to explore new coffee shops, go for hikes, and travel.
Anoushka Lal
CO-DIRECTOR OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION
Anoushka is a rising sophomore at Harvard College and a proud resident of Leverett House, originally from Chicago, Illinois. She intends to concentrate in Social Studies. Anoushka is thrilled to serve as Co-Director of DEI and Outreach on the HMCE 2026 Board and is passionate about making the conference as accessible and expansive as possible. Outside of HMC, Anoushka serves as the Director of Internal Affairs for the Institute of Politics, where she is deeply involved, and she also writes for the Harvard Undergraduate Law Review. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting, watching A24 films, eating spicy foods, and—of course—traveling the world.
Amari Urquhart
CO-DIRECTOR OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION
Amari is a junior at Harvard living in Cabot House double concentrating in Neuroscience and Economics with a citation in Spanish on the pre-medical track. He was born in New York City, but currently resides in Montclair, New Jersey. He is the Co-director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HMC Europe 2026 and is a senior staffer for HMC Boston and HMC Asia. Outside of HMC, he conducts translational neuroscience research at McLean Hospital and directs the PBHA HOOPS volunteering program. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball and tennis, trying new foods, and traveling! His favorite sports team is the New York Knicks.
Henry Pahlow
CHIEF OF STAFF
Henry Pahlow is a rising sophomore at a Harvard and pfuture resident of Pforzheimer House from Green Bay, Wisconsin. He is double-concentrating in both Government and Economics and serves as Chief of Staff for HMC Europe 2026. Outside of HMC, Henry sings with the Harvard Callbacks acapella group, serves as Legislative Director with the Harvard Democrats, and acts in productions with the Harvard Radcliffe Dramatic Club. He is the current chair of the Coalition for the Arts at the Institute of Politics.
